Jammu, July 8 -- Share Tweet Share Srinagar, Jul 8 (KNS): Three overground workers (OGWs) were detained in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district after a facial recognition system deployed for security during the ongoing Amarnath Yatra generated alerts about their presence, police said. The Facial Recognition System (FRS), installed as part of the multi-layered security arrangements for the annual pilgrimage, flagged three suspicious individuals while they were passing through the Sarbal area, a police spokesperson said. Acting on the alerts, police personnel intercepted the trio and verified their identities, following which they were identified as suspected overground workers, the spokesperson said.
