New Delhi, May 18 -- Aaqib Khan

Jailed Member of Parliament from Baramulla, Engineer Rashid, was on Monday granted interim bail by a court here to enable him to attend the last rites of his father, Haji Khazir Mohammad Sheikh, who passed away at AIIMS Delhi following a prolonged illness.

The 85-year-old deceased was undergoing treatment at various hospitals in Srinagar before being shifted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in the national capital for advanced medical care, where he breathed his last.
