Sopore, April 27 -- Senior Superintendent of Police Sopore (SSP) Iftikhar Talib (JKPS) on Monday said the drug-free Jammu and Kashmir campaign launched by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on April 11 is witnessing increasing public participation across sections of society.
Speaking during an awareness march in Sopore, SSP Talib said the campaign has evolved into a public movement, with people from different walks of life joining efforts against drug abuse.
He said a march was organised as part of the initiative, with participation from civil society members and officials, including the Additional Deputy Commissioner Sopore S.A Raina.
