Jammu, Aug. 15 -- Share Tweet Share Bandipora, Aug 15(KNS): Dr Umair Qayoom, medical officer at the Addiction Treatment Facility of District Hospital Bandipora, was on Saturday honoured for his performance during the 100-day Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan. Dr Qayoom received the award from Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Indu Chub and Senior Superintendent of Police Ajaz Ahmad Zargar during the Independence Day celebrations held in the district on the occasion of the 80th Independence Day. The award recognised his contribution to the implementation of the anti-drug campaign and efforts towards providing treatment and support to people affected by substance abuse.
