Don't torment my Kashmiris, whether Hindu or Muslim: Er Rashid at father's funeral
Handwara, May 19 -- Baramulla MP Er Rashid broke down during his father's funeral on Tuesday, made an emotional appeal to the establishment, saying he does not care if he remains behind bars forever but will not stop raising his voice.
"Whoever promotes the use of drugs is not worthy of being called a Muslim," the jailed parliamentarian said, fighting back sobs while addressing a large gathering.
"Do whatever you want to both nations (Indo-Pak) this time or next, but do not torment my Kashmiris. Do not kill the people of my Jammu and Kashmir, whether they are Hindu or Muslim," Er. Rashid said.
