Srinagar, Oct. 30 -- Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather on Thursday said that any government department found giving incorrect or misleading replies to legislators during the ongoing Assembly session will face action in accordance with the rules.
Speaking to KNS, Rather said that accountability within the government is essential for the credibility of the legislative process. "If any honourable member feels that he has not got the right or correct answer, he can take action against that ministry under the rules," he said.
