Jammu, June 23 -- Share Tweet Share Srinagar, Jun 23 (KNS): A group of local contractors on Tuesday came out in defence of a Superintending Engineer (SE) of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC), days after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) conducted raids in a bribery case, dismissing rumours that the officer had gone underground. The contractors, in a joint statement, described the engineer as a "dedicated public servant" with no involvement in the alleged corruption scandal, asserting that he continues to report to duty and remains fully accessible to all stakeholders.
