Srinagar, April 10 -- The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Provincial President Showkat Mir Friday said that the government led by Omar Abdullah has ushered in a new direction in governance and development across Jammu and Kashmir, with a strong focus on welfare-oriented policies and inclusive growth.

He made these remarks while interacting with party functionaries, workers and public delegations at the party headquarters Nawa-e-Subha.
