Jammu, June 11 -- Share Tweet Share New Delhi, June 11 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and sought the early restoration of statehood to the Union Territory, while also discussing economic development, tourism promotion and infrastructure growth. Abdullah said he called on the prime minister in New Delhi and deliberated on issues concerning Jammu and Kashmir, including the restoration of statehood, the economy, development works and measures to strengthen the tourism sector.
