Srinagar, May 8 -- Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday condoled the death of three youths who drowned in the river Jhelum in the Hajin area of Bandipora district, describing the incident as deeply unfortunate.

The Chief Minister offered his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls, an official spokesperson said.

"The Chief Minister is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of young lives in Hajin. He stands with the grieving families in this hour of immense sorrow," the spokesperson added. (KNS)
