Kathua, Aug. 17 -- A devastating cloudburst struck the Ghati area of Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district early today, resulting in the deaths of at least four individuals and injuries to six others.

The sudden deluge caused widespread destruction across multiple locations in the district. According to official officials, the cloudburst severely impacted the Janglot area and its surroundings, damaging several houses, a local police station, portions of the railway track, and stretches of the National Highway.
