Srinagar, Sept. 17 -- The Chamber of Commerce & Industries Kashmir (CCIK) has urged the government to extend the deadline for filing Income Tax Returns (ITR), citing difficulties faced by the business community.
CCIK President Tarik Ghani said traders and taxpayers are struggling due to technical glitches on the income tax portal, disruptions caused by flood-like conditions, and the closure of NH-44, which has hampered routine business activities.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He appealed to the government to provide relief by extending the deadline, ensuring wider compliance and easing the concerns of the trading community.(KNS)
