Srinagar, Aug. 13 -- The office bearers of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kashmir (CCIK) held a meeting with the Chief Secretary to discuss several pressing public health, environmental, and civic issues affecting people.
During the meeting, the delegation raised serious concerns over the circulation of rotten meat in the market, adulteration in milk and dairy products, and the alarming presence of fake drugs. The members stressed the need for urgent inspection drives and strict enforcement of food and drug safety regulations to protect public health.
