Srinagar, Aug. 8 -- President of Anjuman Shari Shian, Hujjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Aga Syed Hasan Al-Moosavi Al-Safavi, during the Friday sermon at the Central Imambara Budgam, addressed two serious public issues: the banning of reputable scholarly books and the recent rotten meat scandal across Kashmir.
In a statement issued he said, "We strongly condemn the prohibition of works by respected researchers and renowned historians. Such actions can neither erase historical facts nor obliterate the living memory of the people of Kashmir."
