Jammu, June 28 -- Share Tweet Share Suhail Rather Bandipora, June 28 (KNS): Former MLA Bandipora Usman Majid on Sunday alleged that Bollywood has repeatedly portrayed Kashmir in a distorted manner to earn commercial gains while maligning the image of Kashmiris. Speaking on the sidelines of a workers' convention, Majid, while responding to a question regarding the impact of pellet guns in Kashmir, claimed that films such as The Kashmir Files, Dhurandhar, and the upcoming movie Chauhan are far removed from the ground realities of the region. "Bollywood is making such films in the name of Kashmir to earn money and create controversy. These movies are being used to defame the people of Kashmir instead of portraying the truth," he said.
