Srinagar, May 23 -- Senior BJP leader and Leader of Opposition in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, Sunil Kumar Sharma targeted Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, alleging that he has remained "missing" from the ground for the past several days while people across Jammu and Kashmir continue to face basic issues.

In a video statement, Sharma said the chief minister was not concerned about the problems of the people, claiming that protests over electricity and water shortages were taking place in different areas.

"The poor people of J&K who made a prince the Chief Minister are now suffering.The prince who was once rejected has been missing for the past few days," Sharma said.
