Srinagar, May 16 -- A one-day convention of the Working Committee of District Budgam comprising delegates, working committee members and block functionaries was held today at the party's district headquarters, Mujahid Manzil, Budgam. The convention was presided over by General Secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar.

Among those present on the occasion were Additional General Secretary and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) Choudhary Mohammad Ramzan, MLAs Ali Mohammad Dar, Dr. Mohammad Shafi and Saif-ud-Din Bhat; Provincial President Showkat Ahmad Mir, Provincial Secretary Syed Tawqeer, senior leader Aga Syed Mahmood, Minority Wing Organizer J.S. Azad, Trade Union Convenor Ghulam Mohammad Hamdard and Nazir Ahmad Gogoo.
