Jammu, Aug. 6 -- Share Tweet Share Srinagar, Aug 06 (KNS): The BJP's Jammu and Kashmir unit on Thursday distanced itself from objectionable slogans raised by some individuals during a rally at Anantnag Housing Colony, saying the remarks neither reflected the party's ideology nor its official stand. The party also reaffirmed its commitment to women's dignity and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of women empowerment. In a statement, BJP spokesperson Altaf Thakur said the party has always upheld the dignity and honour of women and that the 33 per cent reservation for women reflects its commitment to women's empowerment.
