Srinagar, Dec. 7 -- Night temperatures dropped below the freezing point across most parts of Kashmir, with several stations recording the coldest night of the season so far, according to data.

In the Kashmir region, Pahalgam remained the coldest at minus 4.3degC, followed by Zethan Rafiabad at minus 4.1degC and Pulwama at minus 3.8degC. Srinagar recorded minus 0.9degC, while the Srinagar Airport station noted a sharper dip to minus 2.4degC.
