Srinagar, April 29 -- Senior politician Bilal Gani Lone has called on the government to urgently address the development and infrastructure shortfalls in Keran area, located along the Line of Control in Kupwara district.

After visiting the area in connection with a social engagement, and speaking with the locals, Lone said the situation on the ground reflects years of neglect.

Residents, he noted, continue to grapple with gaps in basic services that directly affect their

daily lives.

At the same time, he pointed to Keran's untapped potential, particularly in tourism.
