Doda, July 19 -- In a major enforcement drive to improve road safety, the Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Doda, Abrar Ahmed Kripak (JKAS), carried out a large-scale crackdown on traffic violators across multiple locations in the district. The drive was conducted under the directions of Secretary Transport, Naveen SL (IAS), and the overall supervision of Transport Commissioner J&K, Vishesh Paul Mahajan (JKAS).

During the special drive carried out at Ganpat, Shiva, Fixo, Thathri, Kahara, and Gondoh Bhalessa, the Motor Vehicles Department seized 14 vehicles for serious traffic offences. Additionally, 37 driving licenses were suspended on the spot for repeated violations and reckless driving.
