Z Morh, July 17 -- The Indian Army swiftly responded to a landslide near Z Morh on the evening of July 16, which halted the Amarnath Yatra and left hundreds of pilgrims stranded between Rayalpathri and Brarimarg.

Despite heavy rain and tough conditions, Army teams at Brarimarg immediately sheltered around 500 Yatris in tents and provided them with tea and drinking water. Another 3,000 pilgrims were safely accommodated in nearby langars with food and shelter.

In one critical case, a sick pilgrim trapped between two landslide-prone areas at Rayalpathri was manually evacuated by Army Quick Reaction Teams using a stretcher and safely shifted for medical attention.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
