Budgam, April 15 -- With an aim to promote inclusivity and support persons with visual challenges, the 53 Rashtriya Rifles of the Indian Army organised a special cricket match for visually challenged players at the Government Higher Secondary School here on Wednesday.
The match was played between Vision Warriors and Zeba Aapa Warriors, featuring players from the Jammu & Kashmir Blind Welfare Trust (JKBWT). After winning the toss, Vision Warriors batted first and set a target of 68 runs. Zaiba Aapa Warriors chased down the target in 6.4 overs to register a convincing win. Adil Ahmad emerged as the star performer, scoring an unbeaten 35 runs.
