Army organises medical camp in remote Budgam village
Jammu, Aug. 28 -- Share Tweet Share Budgam, Aug 28 (KNS): The Army organised a medical camp in the remote Nilnag village of Budgam district on Friday, providing free healthcare and medicines to residents of the mountainous area, officials said. The outreach programme was organised by Army Camp Nagam to extend medical services to people living in isolated and difficult-to-reach areas. Medical teams examined residents, including elderly people, women and children, and provided medicines free of cost, they said. For many residents, particularly the elderly and young mothers, the camp provided an opportunity to consult doctors without having to undertake long journeys over rugged terrain and difficult mountain roads.
