The meeting assumes significance as it marks Gen Seth's first visit to the Valley after assuming charge as the 31st Chief of Army Staff on June 30 . He was accompanied by the General Officer Commanding of the strategic Chinar Corps, Lieutenant General Balbir Singh, and other senior Army officers .
