Anantnag, Oct. 25 -- In a major road safety enforcement drive, the Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) of Anantnag conducted vehicle inspections at multiple locations across the district on Saturday.
During the operation, 159 vehicles were checked, and several were found violating safety norms, including using worn-out tyres, defective brakes, and overloading. Acting under Section 19 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, the ARTO suspended 15 driving licences for repeated and serious violations that endangered road safety.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
