Jammu, June 12 -- Share Tweet Share New Delhi, June 12 (KNS) Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday directed security agencies to adopt a technology-backed approach for safeguarding this year's Amarnath Yatra, stressing coordinated efforts to ensure the annual pilgrimage passes off peacefully and without disruption. At a review meeting on the preparations for the yatra, scheduled from July 3 to August 28, Shah asked the Jammu and Kashmir Police, Central Armed Police Forces and other agencies to maintain close coordination and strengthen security arrangements across the pilgrimage route.
