Jaishankar to ensure the safe and early return of Kashmiri Umrah pilgrims stranded in Saudi Arabia following the cancellation of their return flights. In a statement, Bukhari expressed concern over the difficulties faced by the pilgrims, saying their prolonged stay in Saudi Arabia had left many struggling to meet expenses for accommodation, food and essential medicines.
