Jammu, April 27 -- Srinagar, Apr 27 (KNS) Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Monday welcomed the High Court's decision to quash the Public Safety Act (PSA) detention of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Mehraj Malik, calling it a reaffirmation of the rule of law.

In a statement issued here, Bukhari said he was "pleased to learn" about the court's order, which he described as a long-awaited and welcome decision.

"This decision reaffirms our faith in the rule of law and the delivery of justice," Bukhari said.
