Mumbai, Aug. 18 -- Air India on Monday confirmed that its Zurich-Delhi flight scheduled for August 17 was cancelled after a technical problem forced the aircraft to abort take-off at the last minute.

In a statement, the Tata Group-owned airline said, "Flight AI152 scheduled to operate from Zurich to Delhi on 17 August has been cancelled due to a technical reason, and subsequently due to night curfew in Zurich."

The airline said it has arranged alternative flights for affected passengers and provided hotel accommodation, full refunds, or complimentary rescheduling options.
