New Delhi, Aug. 19 -- A delegation of All India Kashmiri Samaj (AIKS), led by its President Ravinder Pandita, on Tuesday met Union Minister of Culture and Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in New Delhi and pressed for the establishment of a Kashmiri Academy in the national capital region.
The proposed academy, on the pattern of Urdu, Sindhi and Punjabi academies, would be managed by AIKS in coordination with the state government to promote Kashmiri language, literature and script.
