Budgam, Aug. 12 -- The Jammu and Kashmir assembly speaker Abdul Rahim Rather on Tuesday said that the restoration of Jammu and Kashmir's statehood remains a common goal for all political parties across the region.
Speaking to reporters on the inaugurating macadamization work at Krehmshore in the Khansahib area of Budgam district, Rather said, "All political parties are working for statehood in their own way. We are in touch with everyone, and even in Parliament, opposition parties are pushing for its restoration."
