Srinagar, Dec. 22 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Water Sports Kayaking and Canoeing Association, affiliated with the Indian Kayaking and Canoeing Association (IKCA), convened its General Body Meeting and conducted elections for office bearers on 22 December 2025 at Hotel Comrade Inn, Rajbagh.

The election process was held under the supervision of Justice (Retd.) Parvaiz Hussain Kachroo, former District & Sessions Judge, who served as the Returning Officer. Mr. Fayaz Ahmad Sofi, representing the Jammu and Kashmir Olympic Association and Mr. Prashant Raghuvanshi, Joint Secretary, IKCA, acted as Observers.
