Srinagar, May 24 -- Former president of Jammu and Kashmir unit of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) Ravinder Raina on Saturday said the party possesses "solid evidence" regarding alleged corruption and money taken from government employees for transfers. He urged Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to provide the opposition party with an opportunity to present the proof.

He said that his party has solid evidence of the allegations.

"Not just one, but a lot of evidence. And certainly, if the government wants, that evidence will be given," Raina said while talking to reporters here.

He said that he has raised the issue seriously and responsibly and had even requested the Prime Minister to look into the matter.
