Srinagar, July 5 -- Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Anshul Garg on Saturday appealed to unregistered pilgrims undertaking the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra to wait until they complete the mandatory registration process and are issued RFID cards.

Addressing a press conference, Garg said some pilgrims had arrived in Kashmir before their allotted date of pilgrimage, while others had reached the Valley without completing the mandatory online registration process.

He said such pilgrims would not be allowed to proceed towards the Holy Cave until they fulfilled the prescribed formalities, including obtaining valid registration and RFID cards.
