Srinagar/Jammu, April 6 -- Two persons were killed and four others injured in separate road accidents in Baramulla and Kathua districts on Sunday.

In the first incident, a woman lost her life and a driver was critically injured after a vehicle plunged into a nallah in the Uri area of Baramulla district.

Officials said a Mahindra XUV300 bearing registration number JK09C-1649 was on its way from Uri to Nambla when it skidded off the road near Syedpora bridge and rolled into Hajipeer Nallah.

The deceased was identified as Mubeena Bano, daughter of Kabir Ahmad Parray and a resident of Balkote.
