Jammu, Sept. 12 -- Three persons were killed and three others injured in two separate road accidents reported from Kathua and Reasi districts on Friday.

In Kathua's Sarthal area of Bani tehsil, two persons were killed and three others injured after a vehicle carrying five passengers met with an accident. Officials said the injured were shifted to Bani Hospital for treatment.

Union Minister of State Jitendra Singh said he spoke to Deputy Commissioner Kathua Rajesh Sharma after being informed about the accident by Bani MLA Dalip Singh Parihar. In a post on X, Singh said three injured passengers had been admitted to Bani Hospital, while two persons lost their lives in the mishap.
