JAMMU, Aug. 16 -- Thousands of people participated in the "Jammu Runs for Unity" Marathon organised by the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) at Bahu Plaza on Sunday to promote awareness about cleanliness, environmental protection and responsible civic behaviour.

The marathon was flagged off by Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar, in the presence of JMC Commissioner Dr Devansh Yadav and other senior officials of the corporation.

According to officials, the event saw participation from children, youth and citizens from various sections of society.
