SRINAGAR, Oct. 15 -- The Association of Integrated Textile and Handicraft Park (AITHP), Zakura, has welcomed the Jammu and Kashmir Ease of Doing Business Act, 2026, and urged the government to notify its rules and implementation guidelines at the earliest to ensure that the promised relief reaches entrepreneurs.

At a meeting of its advisory committee, the association said repeated clearances, redundant no-objection certificates and overlapping compliance requirements had increased the administrative burden on businesses, diverting entrepreneurs from production, financing, marketing and employment generation.
