Srinagar, Feb. 24 -- Residents of several areas in the Tangmarg sub-division of Baramulla district have expressed strong resentment over frequent power outages during Sehri and Iftar hours in the holy month of Ramadan, alleging that the administration has failed to ensure adequate electricity supply.

Locals from Drung, Mahan, Ferozpora, Katipora, Qazipora, Chanapora, Wahpora, Kahipora, Hajibal, Nambalnar, Chandilora, Daruroo, Reram, Kunzer, Malagam and Kralweth said electricity disruptions begin precisely during Sehri and Iftar, causing inconvenience to households.
