New Delhi, June 8 -- Leader of Opposition in the Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Sunil Sharma, on Saturday met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi and discussed various issues concerning Jammu and Kashmir.

According to a statement, the two leaders held detailed deliberations on the prevailing security scenario, law and order situation, developmental initiatives and the overall political landscape of the Union Territory.

During the meeting, Sunil Sharma apprised the Union Home Minister of issues and concerns emerging from the ground and highlighted public aspirations regarding peace, development and effective governance.
