Anantnag, May 27 -- Amod Ashok Nagpure on Tuesday conducted an on-ground review of arrangements along the route of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026 in Anantnag district as part of preparations for the annual pilgrimage.

During the visit, the SSP inspected key locations along the yatra axis and assessed security preparedness, traffic regulation measures, emergency response mechanisms and pilgrim facilitation arrangements.

He directed officers concerned to ensure meticulous planning and seamless coordination among all stakeholders for smooth conduct of the pilgrimage.

The SSP also interacted with civil society members and local representatives at various locations along the route.
