BUDGAM, July 3 -- Speaker of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Abdul Rahim Rather on Thursday inaugurated a laparoscopy machine and a digital X-ray machine at the Sub-District Hospital, Charar-i-Sharief, aimed at strengthening healthcare services in the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Rather said the advanced diagnostic and surgical equipment would improve access to timely healthcare for residents of Charar-i-Sharief and adjoining areas by reducing the need to travel to other hospitals for specialised services.
He said the government remains committed to strengthening the public healthcare system by upgrading health institutions with modern equipment and improved infrastructure to ensure efficient and affordable treatment.
