Jammu, Oct. 4 -- Senior Superintendent of Police (Rural) Jammu has cautioned the public against a fake social media profile allegedly created using his name and identity.
In a public advisory, the officer urged people not to accept friend requests, share personal information or respond to messages originating from the suspicious account. He also advised users to report and block the profile immediately.
According to the advisory, the fake account is operating under the name "Singh Ravinderr SP" and is using the officer's name and photographs.
The officer warned the public to remain vigilant and avoid engaging with any requests or communications sent through the account until it is removed.
