SRINAGAR, April 18 -- Commissioner of Srinagar Municipal Corporation, Faz Lul Haseeb, on Friday visited Maisuma market and directed officials to take immediate measures to improve drainage and street lighting in the area.
During the visit, traders informed the Commissioner about problems related to waterlogging and inadequate lighting in the busy commercial hub.
Taking note of the issues, Faz Lul Haseeb directed officials to develop and maintain a deep drainage system in the area to ensure proper flow of storm water and prevent waterlogging, particularly during bad weather.
