Srinagar, July 9 -- Several political and social leaders and activists from the Lasjan area of Srinagar joined the Apni Party on Thursday in the presence of party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari.
According to a party statement, those who joined included National Conference's Lasjan block president Latif Ahmad, Sameer Malik, Shabir Ahmad Mir, Mushtaq Ahmad, Fayaz Ahmad Mir, Mir Gulshan, Zahoor Ahmad, Imtiyaz Ahmad Mir and others.
Addressing the gathering at the party headquarters in Srinagar, Bukhari said the Apni Party was committed to serving the people of Jammu and Kashmir and safeguarding their rights.
