Srinagar, July 14 -- A lecturer who was critically injured in a road accident at Aglar Kalan, Magam, on July 8 succumbed to his injuries at the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura, on Sunday, officials said.

The deceased has been identified as Shabir Ahmad Dar, son of Sanaullah Dar, a resident of Gofabal, Kunzer in Baramulla district.

Shabir Ahmad Dar was among two lecturers injured after they were allegedly hit by a Creta vehicle near a private workshop at Aglar Kalan. The other injured lecturer, Manzoor Ahmad Malik, had succumbed to his injuries on July 9.
