Jammu, July 6 -- Jammu and Kashmir Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Information Technology, Youth Services and Sports, and Science and Technology, Satish Sharma, on Sunday inaugurated the 24th Vishal Bhandara in Kathua district, visited a farmers' market in Jammu to interact with local producers, and paid tributes to Kargil War martyr Udhayman Singh on his martyrdom day.

The Minister inaugurated the annual Bhandara, organised by the citizens of Punjab Moga, which witnessed the participation of thousands of devotees and pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir and neighbouring states. Regarded as one of the largest annual Bhandaras in Kathua district, the event was held amid religious fervour.
