Jammu, Oct. 3 -- Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Youth Services and Sports, Science and Technology, Information Technology, and ARI & Trainings, Satish Sharma, on Friday inaugurated and laid foundation stones for development projects worth around Rs.13 crore in the Chhamb Assembly constituency.

During his visit to Akhnoor, Barui Sangani, Kandi, Balla, Maira-Sather and Payain, the minister launched a series of projects aimed at improving road connectivity, administrative infrastructure and public utility services.

At Akhnoor, Sharma laid the foundation stone for a Tehsil Supply Officer (TSO) building to strengthen the field-level functioning of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department.
