Srinagar, Aug. 30 -- Health and Medical Education Minister Sakeena Itoo on Saturday inaugurated advanced radiology services, including a CT scan facility, besides non-invasive cardiology and medical oncology divisions at Imam Hussain Multispecialty Hospital in Bemina, Srinagar.

The newly introduced facilities are expected to strengthen access to specialised diagnostic and treatment services in the Valley, particularly for patients from economically weaker sections.

Addressing a gathering on the occasion, Itoo said expanding diagnostic and specialised treatment facilities closer to communities is essential for ensuring timely medical intervention and reducing the need for patients to travel long distances for advanced healthcare services...
